The Kensington Rocking Horse Company comprises a small group of Great Britain's finest rocking horse makers - talented and dedicated men who take pride and pleasure in the traditional craft of the rocking horse maker.

We are told that our rocking horses are distinguished by a friendly face and a warm personality. Indeed, many people tell us that our horses are the most 'realistic' rocking horses in the world. Of course, not all our clients are horse owners, but the Kensington Rocking Horse Company does seem to be the choice of horse lovers.

Every single one of our hand-carved rocking horses is made from fine seasoned hardwoods and features genuine horsehair and real leather tack.

UNBRIDLED CHOICE!

Our stable of rocking horses includes a wide variety of styles, finishes and sizes. You might be seduced by the charms of the dapple grey - perhaps with an optional antique finish. Or you might find the elegance and allure of a polished hardwood such as mahogany, utile, oak or cherry impossible to resist.

You can choose between the elegant bow rocker or the more compact swinger stand. You will also find that many of our horses have detachable saddles and bridles, which allows the young rider to practise 'tacking-up'.

GENERATIONS AHEAD

Of course, a hand-carved rocking horse is a substantial investment. An investment in craft and tradition in a world of mass production. An investment in the imagination and creative play of a child. THE DAPPLE GREY

The dapple grey is arguably the most traditional of all rocking horses and our dapple greys consistently win praise, turn heads and melt hearts. The dapple grey is fashioned by one of our senior rocking horse makers who produces a softer, more romantic interpretation than was sometimes the case in Victorian times. This is the rocking horse to fulfil many a long-held dream.
